Developments & Updates
The Provost’s Office is in the process of revamping our new faculty mentoring program so that it is team-based rather than one-on-one pairings, maximizing opportunities to organically grow connections between colleagues and provide support on multiple dimensions.
Junior faculty are also invited to join the NCFDD Faculty Success Program and many have participated over the last few years.
The provost has already started meeting individually with faculty of color to make sure they have access to the resources they need to be successful, and will continue this work in Fall 2021. This will also remain a priority item for Chairs and Coordinators at their semesterly meeting.
