Expand Africana Studies Faculty

Tenure-line faculty hire in Africana Studies.

September 2021: The job description and application for a full-time professor and director of Africana Studies is now available, and the search committee has been assembled. A full list of the committee members, including the student representatives, is available on the Provost's Office website.

Phase 1 is complete and further efforts are ongoing. The faculty on the search committee for a new position in Africana Studies have recently been identified through the annual service assignments process. Additional detail is available in the commitment Google sheet.
