Promote practices centered on inclusion and equity within the division of Institutional Advancement and in its work with external communities.
Developments & Updates
This work has continued during the 2021-2022 year, with 11 articulated goals related to enhancement of DEI efforts in IA that pertain to i) process and system changes, as well as ii) engagement and inclusion of constituents.
Institutional Advancement has started a process to assess its internal procedures and policies with particular attention to identifying and remedying practices that propagate racism and sexism. Concurrently, IA is creating a plan to identify improvements around inclusivity with alumnae/i and other external constituencies.
